New Grad RN Transition Program

In response to employment challenges, CINHC established the New Graduate RN Transition Programs in partnership with the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, Kaiser Permanente Fund for Health Education at the East Bay Community Foundation, Kaiser Permanente National Patient Care Services, and other community health care partners. The Programs provide new graduate RNs with additional education, coaching, and clinical experience to improve competence, professional skills, and marketability.

The programs incorporate clinical, didactic, simulation, skills lab, and e-learning components. Programs are approximately 24 hours/week over 12–18 weeks, offer academic credit and upon program completion, an industry-recognized certificate.  Programs are non-paid training experiences and participation does not guarantee employment.
