Master Plan

CINHC is developing a statewide nursing Master Plan that will result in an educational system providing an adequate supply of nurses, a work force representative of California’s cultural diversity, a working environment supportive of quality care and professional development and recruitment strategies that benefit all health care providers and patients.

The Plan includes six focus areas: Educational Systems & Capacity, Recruitment, Nursing Practice, Workforce Diversity, Working Environments, and Workforce Research & Data.
